They are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team.

Job description

Our clients highly experienced creative department is made up of 4 core teams: Creative Design, Copy and UI/UX that is responsible for all digital and offline creative work. These teams are supported by our clients in-house studio coordinators who schedule and manage the department’s workload. The creative department consists of designers and senior creatives. 

Their standards are very high and this is reflected in the quality of their brands and products across all channels. As an international company, they work across different languages and cultures and have a diverse range of nationalities within the creative team.

Our client works closely with the development team and keep up to date on the latest trends in design and web technologies ensuring they produce the best possible user experience across all touchpoints.

As a Designer, you will have a large focus on creating and maintaining eye-catching marketing material, generating and executing concepts and where necessary, providing support where needed to the wider design and creative team. You will be part of a team of talented creative designers of all experience levels. You will be creating assets that range from digital to print. This will be within a multilingual environment where versatility is required, often with tight deadlines.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Create usable, innovative digital designs and modifications as required

Create marketing material for our Marketing and Promotions departments which will include banners, landing pages, flyers, press ads, video and LED work

Work closely with key stakeholders through constant communication

Follow principles of good design and ensure it is of the highest quality, focusing on attention to detail

Maintain graphic and technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications where possible taking a proactive approach to develop your knowledge and gain experience

Have the ability to work within strict brand guidelines, as well as the ability to interpret said guidelines

The ability to interpret stakeholder briefs, and communication thereof

Requirements

• Excellent Typography/Layout skills
• HTML5 Banner ad experience through the full Adobe Creative cloud suite
• Client Facing experience
• The ability to work with (through collaboration and effective communication ) remote teams
• The ability to provide time estimations on jobs that come into the studio
• Good understanding of composition and lighting with regards to photography, as well as having the ability to retouch photos
• Champion the voice of the customer through your work and understand the audiences you work with
• Knowledgeable and comfortable working with brand guidelines and implementing them across channels
• Good knowledge of design processes and tools, for example, understanding and interpreting briefs, Workflow tools like Workfront and Wrike. Using Digital Asset Management tools. Processes include, but are not limited to conceptualising, brainstorming, presenting your ideas etc.
• A solid design and digital understanding with the ability to deliver succinct and effective technical designs
• Possess strong design and conceptual skills, as well as creatively being able to collaborate with others including brainstorming sessions
• A good working knowledge of responsive design and mobile first practices
• Highly skilled and experienced in using the Full Adobe Creative Cloud suite and other creative software
• Candidates without portfolios will not be considered
• Good knowledge of design processes and tools, for example, understanding and interpreting briefs, Workflow tools like Workfront and Wrike. Using Digital Asset Management tools. Processes include, but are not limited to conceptualising, brainstorming, presenting your ideas etc.
• A solid design and digital understanding with the ability to deliver succinct and effective technical designs
• Possess strong design and conceptual skills, as well as creatively being able to collaborate with others including brainstorming sessions
• A good working knowledge of responsive design and mobile first practices
• Highly skilled and experienced in using The Full Adobe Creative Cloud suite and other creative software
• After Effects– 1+ years commercial experience in Motion Graphics advantageous
• A keen interest in online gaming advantageous
• A keen interest in sports advantageous
• A keen interest in keeping up to date with web development trends advantageous
• Candidates without portfolios will not be considered
