They are currently looking for an International M&A / VC / Business Development Support Manager to join their team.

Job description

This International Mergers and Acquisitions / Venture Capital / Business Development Support Manager role requires the services of an experienced manager to oversee and grow the existing team of experts in order to ensure that your division is able to scale its portfolio seamlessly. The role is ideally suited to a thorough and detail-focused former investment banker / venture capitalist with experience in managing small, and medium-sized acquisitions from due diligence through to completion and beyond.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Management of geographically dispersed direct reports and external consultants

Due diligence processes, participating directly where necessary, providing feedback to inform deal negotiations

Deal completion, including integration into group financial reporting and other systems and processes

Regular meeting schedules / agendas / minutes / etc. for ongoing oversight of portfolio companies

Development and implementation of systems for the standardization and effective scaling of all of the above (in particular, acquisition and integration of large amounts of external data and analysis thereof)

Strategically guiding portfolio company technology development for portfolio and group synergies where possible

Ensuring that the group has appropriate visibility into all portfolio companies (build relationships with management, minimize surprises, maximize opportunities for synergy, identify need for intervention / active management early, etc)

• Online gaming metrics, operations, systems, processes and regulations
• Investment banking / private equity / venture capital, or similar exposure to M&A / investment / etc activity
• Software development and / or the management thereof
• Analytics, machine learning / artificial intelligence, working with large data sets
