Translation Systems Specialist

Our client is a global company that enables organisations to deliver sustainable results across the supply chain through their product, an Integrative Improvement System. Based in Century City, they are looking for a Translations Systems Specialist.

Job description

Reporting to the Content Localization Manager, you will work in conjunction with the Technical Team reporting to the Product Architect. You will be required to implement, maintain and extend translations management processes to ensure the following:

Optimization of existing machine learning capability 

Integration with external systems

Integration with internal content and language management systems 

Optimal localization

Duties include: 

Undertaken ongoing research and document global best practices for translations management 

• Engage with machine learning and proofing service providers to optimise services and continually improve on quality and costs

Establish stable localisation process to ensure optimal language adoption/uptake

Ensure that translations processes are optimally aligned with the company CMS, other content repositories and other relevant systems

Establish an integrated, world class translation management system for the company

Document and update all translations management processes

Train up other team members to support new technologies and practices

Requirements

• Knowledge of global translations best practices
• 10 years’ experience in translations management
• A technical degree or equivalent certification
• Working knowledge of machine translation systems
• Ability to work in relevant code
• Bulk processing
